Mark Ziering
Partner, Genesis Partners
Mark is a partner at Genesis Partners which he joined in 1999, focusing on
software investments.
He is currently a board member at Discretix and Correlix and an observer
of the boards of Aternity and FIS Software, and was a board member of
Appilog until its sale to Mercury Interactive.
Over the past 20 years Mark has developed an expertise in technology,
operations and finance. Prior to joining Genesis Partners, Mark was VP
of Business Development and COO of several portfolio companies at
Partech Ltd., a biomedical venture and management company that he helped
transition into a biopharmaceutical company that went public in 2000
(NASDAQ:KERX). Prior to Partech, Mark was the Business Manager of E&C
Medical Intelligence, a patient records company, that he helped lead
through its first round of financing and a design partnership with its
first US based customer. Before moving to Israel, Mark worked for the
CFO of Chemical Bank's Technology Infrastructure Division (TID). Mark
began his career with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and founded
Ark of Hope, an overseas program for students in the former USSR, which
he managed from inception until the adoption of its program by another
non-profit organization.
Mark holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA in
Economics from Yeshiva University in New York.
